Senior Export Compliance Associate Consultant

Mike MacDonald joined DL Exports International as a Senior Export Compliance Associate Consultant. He has over 25 years’ experience managing International Trade Compliance programs for some of the United States largest defense contractors, including GE Aircraft Engines, United Technologies Aerospace Systems, Raytheon and Draper Labs. He has noted expertise performing export classifications under both the ITAR and the EAR, drafting export licenses and agreements, performing audits and managing investigations. Mike began his career in the customs brokerage and freight forwarding industry and uses that knowledge and experience to bridge the gap between the logistics operations and International Trade Compliance sides of an organization. Mike works extensively with company’s sales, program and engineering organizations to classify goods, services and technologies destined for export and developing licensing strategies that ensure compliance.

Mike has experience working with companies that are operating under consent agreement and has worked closely with Special Compliance Officers (SCO) to develop programs designed to bring these companies in compliance with the prevailing regulations. He has extensive experience developing and delivering international trade compliance training programs and has lectured extensively on the topic. Mike has a degree in International Politics, Culture and Trade from Northeastern University.

Jacqueline Wilson joined DL Exports as a security and IT subject matter expert. She has 27 years of experience in the high tech industry, mostly in AIX development at IBM working on computer security and networking solutions. She was a Senior Technical Staff Member and security architect for AIX. She is also ISO 9000 lead assessor trained, and is very familiar with many security standards such as Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Controlled Objectives for IT (CoBIT) and Common Criteria and can help companies achieve compliance and learn best practices. She reviews encryption submissions to the Bureau of Industry and Security and is on the ITAR audit team.

At IBM, she led efforts to certify AIX by Common Criteria and FIPS. She has a background in cryptography and implemented the cryptographic portions of AIX’s VPN software. Jacqueline can aid companies in completing export questionnaires, especially in the area of cryptography. She also aids in reviewing good security practices necessary for compliance with ITAR and export regulations. She has also worked in the semiconductor industry in the Computer Aided Design Group and Motorola and at a medical group at Siemens. Jacqueline has a BSE from Princeton University in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She received her MBA at St. Edwards University in Austin. She is a member of Society of Women Engineers and Women in Technology International, as well as International Software Security Association. She is the inventor of 7 patents at IBM and has written numerous technical articles. She speaks German and French and enjoys traveling.

Ron Faccenda

Ron Faccenda is a program manager specializing in software quality and development processes with a background in hardware/software systems engineering. He has applied his hardware and software experience at Honeywell, Digital, and EMC. Ron has a BSEE from MIT and is certified as a Scrum Master and as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Ron was instrumental in transitioning an 80 person engineering organization from waterfall to Agile (Scrum), and as an LSS Black Belt has driven projects that saved over $1M in operational and engineering expenses. He has experience in medical instrumentation, IC CAD, transaction processing, large-scale video systems development, and process improvement. In addition, Ron is experienced in project management and scheduling, hardware/software quality, corporate quality standards, and data analysis/metrics.

George Newton is a Senior SAP LES Consultant with 20 years of SAP experience including development and functional analysis in several SAP modules.

He was a member of the team responsible for implementing SAP in international subsidiaries, including on-site in Australia, India China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong), Japan, and Europe.
